In the days 10 to 13 of September 2011, ARES was in London at the international exhibition of Defence and Security Equipment (DSEi). One of the most important fairs of the industry.
The first phase of the Weapon Station REMAX tests were concluded with success. In this phase, it was carried out the “No Firing Tests” by CAEx (Centro de Avaliações do Exército) on gravel track and APG track (“Aberdeen Proving Ground”). The next and last phase will be the “Firing Tests”, expected to happen in 2011. Once finished these tests, REMAX, developed by ARES under CTEx requirements, will be ready to be supplied to the Brazilian Army armored vehicles, becoming the first Weapon Station manufactured and developed in Brazil.
One more successful participation of ARES at LAAD exibition, where REMAX was shown, a gyro stabilized weapon station deployed on URUTU, along with new products such as CARDOM (120/81mm recoil mortar system) and the STAR (70mm rocket laser guided).

In 2009, ARES has participated in the seventh edition of LAAD – Latin America Aero and Defense in Riocentro’s pavilion 3 with best performance attendance and exhibitors: around 18.200 visitors and 336 exhibiting companies. President Lula and the Brazilian Defense Minister along with three Armed Forces commanders visited ARES stand in order to know its products.
Circa 50.000 people passed trough the Eurosatory Paris Defense salon last June. Militaries along with army industry and public security businessmen presented the latest in weapons and defense gear. ARES showed up representing Brazil side by side with seven other companies as well as the government delegates. The Brazilian Army Logistics Commander, General Marius Teixeira Neto, was a remarkable presence in ARES stand.
